Multiple criteria supplier selection network model

Abstract:

Supplier selection processes have received considerable attention in business. Most production systems are organized as networks of unit. Determining suitable suppliers in supply chain networks has become a key strategic issue. Supplier-costumer relationships are changing into cooperative form. The impact of information sharing plays a crucial role. The supplier selection problem is a multiple criteria group decision making problem. In the paper Multiple Criteria Supplier Selection Network Model (P. Fiala) a multiple criteria model of cooperative decision making and a solution method based on the combination of ANP and multi-objective programming is presented. The proposed approach considers the network and dynamic environment for supplier selection process and manages relationship among units.
